PUBLIC NOTICE

A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT

Relating to alcoholic beverages in the City of Jemison in Chilton County; to provide that the City Council may authorize the sale of draft beer for on-premises consumption and the sale of draft beer in growlers or kegs for off-premises consumption by off premises retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. This act shall apply only within the corporate limits of the City of Jemison in Chilton County.
Section 2. The City Council, by Ordinance or Resolution, may authorize the sale and distribution of draft beer by retail licensees of the Alcoholic Beverag Control Board. Authorization shall include the sale of draft beer for off premises consumption in a growler or keg or other similar container by persons licensed by the Board to make retail sales for off premises consumption.
Section 3. This act shall become effective immediately following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law.
